Proactive Ageing

Our signature approach to the ageing face: Dr Joshi’s Proactive Ageing

As we age, multiple processes are occurring all at once that are causing the changes you see in the mirror that bother you.

These changes affect all layers of the face from the skin down to bone.

Treating just one or two of these layers or even areas, will not be enough to provide a cohesive and seamless result that will last.

Proactive Ageing

As a doctor with over two decades Dr Joshi devised her trademark triad that addresses all of these issues except one: enough skin sagging requiring surgery.

At present there is NO non surgical treatment that comes even close to what surgery can achieve if sagging is your biggest or main concern.

Dr Joshi’s approach to her FFA®, also referred to as Proactive Ageing, may help you look and feel your best for years to come with maintenance.

What changes is Dr Joshi’s FFA® targeting?

Our signature FFA®:

Skin

Textured skin is one of the earliest give always of ageing.

Pigment changes due to  sundamage and collagen loss are others.

Volume Loss

The unavoidable contributor to ageing, volume loss over the entire face is one of the biggest contributors to the ageing process in women and is accelerated leading into menopause, during the first 5 years of menopause and beyond.

Volume Loss

The unavoidable contributor to ageing, global volume loss (ie over the entire face) is one of the biggest contributors to the ageing process in women and is accelerated leading into menopause, during the first 5 years of menopause and beyond.

Muscle Tension Changes

Dr Joshi takes the approach that erasing all lines and wrinkles & freezing faces is not the desired endpoint of treatment done well.

Our goal is moderating the impact of muscles on thinning skin.

If you are a suitable candidate for Dr Joshi’s Proactive Ageing, which takes a Full Face Aesthetics (FFA®) approach, we aim to address the rest of your concerns that surgery cannot.

Who is Proactive Ageing for?

Our commonest patients who see success with FFA® are commonly:

  • Women ages 35-55
  • Women who want to age proactively without looking “done” or being “frozen”
  • Women who want a done-for-you plan devised in consultation with you  at the initial consultation
  • Women who are disciplined and committed to seeing their own FFA® to completion.
  • Women who are realistic and are aiming for 60-80% improvement which they will then maintain.
  • Women who are looking for a single clinic and doctor to help them map their journey for years to come.
