Fees Guidance for Patients

A guide to fees and costs

All new patients require an initial consultation to see Dr Joshi at Skin Essentials without exception.

This fee varies depending on the appointment type, and is for the consultation only.

This fee is prepaid to secure your appointment and is non refundable including for change of mind.

If treatment is discussed in your consultation, the costs for these are an additional fee which will be outlined for you at your consultation after assessment.

For Dr Joshi’s bespoke FFA program, access to the program if suitable will require a part, non refundable prepayment of ~ 30% of the formal quote.

Returning patients

We understand that life happens and you may not be able to follow up on suggested treatment as requested.

In this instance, where there is an absence of 6-12 months, a long consultation is necessary to get you back on track after an assessment as appropriate.

If you are gone for longer than 12 months, you will begin again as a new patient.

Our fee structure

Fees are charged for Dr Joshi’s skills and any products used during the course of your treatment.

We acknowledge that you might need more time to think things over, and that occasionally your treatment needs to be delayed for medical reasons. In this instance, a consultation fee will apply for the time spent with us.

Refunds

All our consents outline that you are paying for a treatment, not a guaranteed result as these are dependent on your anatomy, physiology and willingness to follow on the suggested plan.

Refunds are therefore not available, even if you feel the treatment does not meet your expectations.

If a complication occurs during or after treatment, we may need to refer you to other specialists / services or recommend additional treatments with us to resolve the complication.

In this case you are responsible for the costs of such services and treatments deemed necessary for best outcome.

There may be additional costs within the clinic for instance if emergency treatment needs to be instituted for vascular occlusion.
There may be additional costs within clinic if you decide to have work dissolved.
There may be additional costs if any setbacks or complications require additional treatment with products or devices, which will be quoted to you at the time.

Complimentary Reviews

We do not charge for follow up reviews in clinic that check on your results and which take place at the scheduled times for procedural work but do charge for any further products that are used at these review appointments.
